Paul is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist in private practice in Dublin 2, Kilkenny, and Carlow. He is a Training Analyst with the Irish Institute of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, providing personal therapy for candidates in clinical psychotherapy training. Paul also lectures in psychotherapy at Trinity College Dublin.
Paul has over fifteen years’ experience in the area of psychological therapies. He is a former Chairperson, and Board Member of the Irish Institute of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. He has recently taken up the role of Course Director of the M.Sc. in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, in the Department of Psychiatry, School of Medicine, Trinity College Dublin.
Paul is a member of the British Psychological Society (MBPsS), the Irish Council for Psychotherapy (Reg. Pract.) and the Irish Forum for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (Reg. Pract.).
Referrals are welcome in relation to all areas of general psychotherapy, in addition to this Paul specialises in psychotherapy for people who have experienced a brain injury, people on the autistic spectrum, and family members of people affected by these issues.
Paul also provides a therapeutic consultancy service to professionals in the areas of acquired brain injury, autism, social work, social care work.
