Conor is a fully accredited Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist with the Irish Forum for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy where he has worked on the executive and the ethics committees. He is a registrant with the Irish Council for Psychotherapy and holds the European Certificate for Psychotherapy awarded by the ICP. He has been on the Training Committee concerned with the training of psychoanalytic psychotherapists in the Irish Institute of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy with the M.Sc. program in Trinity College. During that time he worked on the development of the training requirements, was also administrator of the reduced cost clinic and a Training Analyst. He then joined the board of the Institute in and was Chair of the Institute, from which he has now retired.
Special Interest in Addictions
In an addition to working in private practice he also offers clinical supervision for therapists. While working with all areas of psychoanalytic psychotherapy, he has an special interest in addiction. His consulting rooms are at Fitzwilliam Psychotherapy Centre, 20, Fitzwilliam Place, Dublin 2.
